Kaori is your average middle school bookworm with red hair, blue eyes, and glasses. Shy, quiet, and obsessed with reading and doing homework, she likes to keep up her good girl image. But she also has her social insecurities. While she feels more comfortable spending time by herself in the library, she also secretly wishes others would take notice of her. She thinks by wearing her eye glasses on top of her head, that she will appear less nerdy. But her twin brother has told her often enough that "no, it makes you even weirder." But driven to prove him and the rest of the world wrong, she does it anyway.

She is originally scared out of her mind to be in the digital world, but after meeting her parter Digimon, Allidamon, her confidence increases and she learns some new things about how to act in difficult situations. Over all, she's willing to at least try an adventure and see where it leads!
